for pastors
When prayer is already in place, and the cycle at 2am still isn't.
Stewardship is what to point a couple to when the heart work has begun and the household still has open paths. A coaching-track supplement, not a replacement for the pastoral care or counseling you are already offering them.
where it fits
Alongside the work you are already doing.
Heartland Christian Coaching already walks with couples through the spiritual and clinical sides of pornography recovery. Stewardship adds the practical: a structured way to address the devices in the home, so the recovery work has room to take root.
Pastors are not asked to administer the program. You point; Heartland holds. The couple goes through the lessons at their own pace, with support from the coaching track they are already engaged with.
who benefits
Couples who have named the struggle, and need a household that supports the change.
The clearest fit is a couple who has begun the spiritual and clinical work and is now asking, plainly, “What do we do about the phone, the laptop, the tablet, the router?” Stewardship answers that question with consent and structure built in.
It is not a substitute for therapy or for the work of the Spirit; it is the household-side companion to both.
how to refer
Point them to one conversation.
The first step is an inventory — one structured lesson the couple works through together at their own pace. From there, they decide. There is no in-home visit, no surveillance, no commitment beyond the first conversation.
